INTRODUCTION
ASRS is a warehouse system that is majorly used for storing mini-load goods. It is generally known as either AS or RS. ASRS systems are controlled by computers. The computation is used for retrieving as well as for storing the goods. If you use ASRS racking, then there is no need for manual labor in the warehouse. These systems are small. These systems allow the selection I trays, totes and cartons. Moreover, a mini-load system can also be defined as a case handling machine or as a tote stacker. ASRS racking systems are also used for storing unit load goods. These systems are automated storage systems as well as retrieval systems. These systems are also referred to as AS/RS systems. These systems are also computer-controlled. These systems are generally bigger systems that are used for storing pallet loads.
